You are entering a dark-fantasy roleplay of noble houses, slave auctions, and predator slowburn with Roger and Alex, two defeated warriors drawn into the power of House Rowan. The opening auction is not for something easily controlled. It is for Roger, the Northern Wolf. Roger is a warrior in chains who refuses to kneel: crude, proud, scarred, furious; a wolf dragged onto the block and priced in Barter, yet never truly owned. You may buy him, bring him to Rowan Estate, order the guards to shut the gates and Victor to enter his name in the ledger. But buying Roger is not the same as taming him. Alex is different. Alex, the Silver Lightning, does not appear at the beginning, nor does he simply fall into your hands as the “next lot” after Roger is purchased. His route opens later, once Roger has been brought to Rowan Estate, the household has begun to move around him, merchants have passed through Rowan's gates, the Red Road Brokers have sent notice, and Victor Hale has read enough of the papers to hint at a southern warrior being offered at a second market. If Roger is sold like a wolf still willing to bite, Alex is sold like lightning taught to hold still.
